One of the key directions in contemporary healthcare reform, alongside the Introduction of state-guaranteed levels and scopes of medical care, budget-insurance financing, and bed capacity restructuring, is the provision of primary medical and social care based on the principles of family medicine.

By prioritizing the latter, most countries around the world have achieved significant success in developing their national healthcare systems and improving the quality of medical services for the population.
