Pulmonary carcinomatosis

The lung parenchyma reveals small gray foci typical of the metastatic spread of Lung Cancer. During metastasis, the initial lymphogenic metastases develop in the peribronchial and bifurcation Lymph Nodes, followed by the cervical and retroperitoneal nodes. Among hematogenous metastases, lung cancer typically spreads to the Liver, Brain, bones (especially the vertebrae), and Adrenal Glands.
