Aposthematous Pyelonephritis against the Background of Polycystic Kidney Disease
On the renal surface, multiple cyst-like formations resembling vesicles filled with clear fluid are visible. Adjacent to them are yellow foci up to 0.2 cm in diameter, sharply demarcated from the surrounding Tissues. Microscopically, these areas exhibit atrophic changes and infiltration by segmented neutrophils.
