Introduction
The aim of teaching the academic discipline "Plant Physiology" is to provide students with a comprehensive body of knowledge regarding the core physiological processes of green plants, the mechanisms of their regulation at various Levels of biological Organization, and the patterns of interaction with the environment.
The subject matter of the academic discipline "Plant Physiology" encompasses the vital activity processes of the plant Organism and the Methods for their regulation; the correlation between Structure and function; the interaction among plant Organs; and The impact of external and internal factors on the physiological processes of plants.
Upon completion of the academic discipline, students are expected to
·know: the PHYSIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF The plant Cell; the relationship between Water regime and physiological processes; MODERN CONCEPTS OF the mechanisms of Photosynthesis, Respiration, and mineral Nutrition; and the physiological patterns underlying growth processes.
be able to: apply the acquired knowledge of plant physiology to solve practical problems; design and conduct research in plant physiology; comprehend the physiological processes of plants; and adopt a scientific and professional approach to cultivation technologies for landscape gardening.
