Primary contracted Kidney

In Hypertension and symptomatic hypertension, vascular changes lead to arteriolonephrosclerosis, or primary contraction of the Kidneys (primary contracted kidneys). Macroscopically, the kidneys are dense, with a finely granular surface due to the presence of developed scars; a structural remodeling of the kidneys is observed.
