Thymomegaly
The Thymus gland is enlarged, occupying half of the Mediastinum. Thymomegaly is characterized by an increase in the mass and volume of the thymic parenchyma exceeding age-related norms while maintaining its normal Structure. It can be either congenital or acquired. Congenital thymomegaly is frequently associated with Developmental anomalies of the nervous, endocrine, and cardiovascular systems, as well as generalized lymphoid tissue hyperplasia.
