The specimen shows a Kidney with disrupted parenchymal Structure. This is caused by renal calculi and impaired urine outflow, leading to atrophy and sclerotic changes within the organ. Among the general factors contributing to urolithiasis, hereditary and acquired disorders of Mineral METABOLISM and acid-base balance, dietary habits, the mineral composition of drinking Water, and vitamin deficiencies are of major importance. Inflammatory processes in the Urinary Tract and urinary stasis also play a critical role.
