Cyanotic induration of the Kidney
It is caused by chronic generalized venous congestion. In venous congestion, the kidney enlarges and appears cyanotic due to the elevated content of reduced Hemoglobin. It becomes firm As a result of concomitant Lymph Circulation disorders and edema, and later due to Connective Tissue proliferation.
