Modern Histology, Cytology, and Embryology employ A wide variety of Research Methods, enabling a comprehensive Study of the developmental processes, Structure, and Functions of Cells, Tissues, and Organs.

Depending on the state of the experimental subjects, histological research methods are divided into two main groups:

— vital (supra-vital, in vivo);

— post-vital (post-mortem).
