Muscles and Fascia of the Upper Limb
Muscles of the Free Upper Limb
Muscles of the Forearm

The forearm Muscles are numerous and exhibit A wide variety of Functions; most of them are multi-joint muscles, as they act across several joints. Based on the anatomical and functional principle, they are divided into two groups: the anterior group—flexors of the forearm, wrist, and fingers, as well as pronators of the forearm; and the posterior group—extensors of the forearm, wrist, and fingers, as well as supinator of the forearm. However, some authors classify the forearm muscles not by their anatomical and functional principle, but by their Location (topography) into three groups: anterior, lateral, and posterior.
