Muscles Attached to the Hyoid Bone

The Muscles attached to the Hyoid bone are divided into those located above the hyoid bone, known as the Suprahyoid muscles (mm. suprahyoidei), and those located below it, known as the Infrahyoid muscles (mm. infrahyoidei) (Fig. 112).
