Muscles of expiration
The Muscles involved in the act of exhalation include the following:
1) rectus abdominis;
2) internal and external intercostal muscles;
3) subcostal muscles;
4) transversus thoracis Muscle;
5) quadratus lumborum muscle;
6) iliocostalis muscle;
7) serratus posterior inferior muscle
