Malignant neoplasms of the female reproductive organs
Trophoblastic diseases

All trophoblastic neoplasms are grouped under the heading of "trophoblastic disease," which includes Hydatidiform Mole, invasive mole, and Choriocarcinoma. The first two conditions represent the benign form of trophoblastic disease, while the latter is malignant.

Tumor transformation of the trophoblast is triggered by the damaging effects of an induction factor, hypoestrogenemia, and environmental factors; a link between the onset of the disease and spermatogenic pathology is also not excluded. Occasionally, choriocarcinoma develops from germ Cells of the female or male Gonads and from teratoid lesions.
