Objectives of the session: 1) to study the anatomical and histological Structure OF THE respiratory Organs; 2) to learn how to determine the respiratory rate, measure lung vital capacity, and provide their physiological assessment.
Equipment: charts, diagrams, histological slides, slides, a Microscope, a slide projector, a spirometer. Scope of work. The student must know: 1) the Water/140.html">Anatomical Structure of the respiratory organs and be able to demonstrate it on charts and anatomical models; 2) the Morphofunctional Features of the Respiratory system structure; 3) how to determine the respiratory rate and measure key lung volumes; 4) how to determine lung vital capacity using a spirometer.
Lab report. Sketch the specimens, measure lung vital capacity, and evaluate the obtained parameters.
