JOINTS OF THE BONES OF THE LOWER LIMB

The Skeleton of the Lower Limb consists of the Pelvic Girdle and the free limb. The girdle includes the paired, massive hip bone. The free limb, in turn, is subdivided into the thigh (represented by the Femur), the leg (represented by the Tibia and Fibula), and the FOOT. The foot comprises three parts: the tarsus, metatarsus, and Phalanges of the toes.
