Staining: hematoxylin and eosin or Einarson's method.

The autonomic ganglion has a Connective Tissue capsule (1) that extends connective tissue septa deep into the ganglion. The Neurons (2) are typically multipolar and surrounded by neuroglial Cells (3). The processes of the neurocytes are not stained.
