Slide 7. Pigment inclusions in tadpole skin cells.

The slide is unstained.

Magnification: x400.

Under low magnification, we locate Cells with numerous branching processes. Under high magnification, we examine an individual Cell featuring a round or oval light spot in the center, where the uncoloured Nucleus is located (1). The Cytoplasm of The Cell around The Nucleus and within the processes is filled with greenish-brown pigment granules (2).
