Under low power, we observe four or more blastomeres (1) — large Cells formed As a result of the division of the amphibian ovum.
Under high power, round or oval yellow structures (2) are visible in the Cytoplasm. These are inclusions of lipophosphoprotein complexes accumulated within vesicles, known as yolk platelets.
