Understanding the physiology and biochemistry of the reproductive process serves as the basis for developing new approaches to Contraception. In addition to their primary function of influencing reproduction, Sex Hormones are also involved in other important bodily processes. For instance, they exhibit anabolic effects and are therefore necessary for maintaining METABOLISM in the Skin, bones, and Muscles.
