7.4. SUPPORTS FOR ENZYME IMMOBILIZATION

A vast number of Supports (matrices, substrates) of both organic and inorganic nature are used to obtain immobilized Enzymes.

All supports can be divided into two main groups: organic and inorganic, which, in turn, can be either natural or synthetic (Fig. 7.1).
