Concentric myocardial hypertrophy (compensatory, tonogenic)

We can observe a cross-section of The Heart chambers, specifically the right and left ventricles. The left ventricular wall is hypertrophied up to 2 cm. This type of cardiac hypertrophy develops during Hypertension or heart valve defects (such as aortic valve stenosis in septic endocarditis). In the early stages, the disease is characterized by compensatory hypertrophy affecting not only Muscle fibers, but also stromal structures (Blood Vessels, nerve fibers, and the Connective Tissue framework).
