Hemorrhagic infarction of the Brain
The specimen shows cerebral hemorrhages that develop during stage III Hypertension and are characterized by the destruction of brain tissue. Consequences: death, or cyst formation due to liquefactive necrosis. The walls of the cyst have a rusty hue caused by hemosiderin deposition.
