Left ventricular hypertrophy with cardiosclerosis

The specimen shows a section of The Heart Muscle exhibiting signs of left ventricular hypertrophy up to 2 cm thick, accompanied by Hypertrophy of the papillary Muscles. Diffuse gray-colored areas are visible throughout the myocardium, resulting from myocardial injury associated with Hypertension.
