Subarachnoid Hemorrhage into the Brain

The specimen demonstrates the brain with a dark-colored area in the Brainstem region representing a hemorrhage. This condition arises from arterial Hypertension, which can occur in Late Gestoses such as Eclampsia and Preeclampsia. Microscopically, diffuse Blood imbibition of the brain tissue and neuronal necrosis are revealed. Outcomes: cerebral edema, death, and Organization with cyst formation.
