Gastric scirrhous carcinoma
A malignant tumor of The Stomach in which the stroma predominates over the parenchyma. On cross-section, the carcinoma appears as a whitish or grayish tissue of woody consistency. The most common histological type of Gastric Cancer is adenocarcinoma. Among undifferentiated forms, solid and signet-ring Cell carcinomas are encountered.
