An example of parenchymatous protein dystrophy, characterized by the accumulation of excess protein granules within the nephrothelium. The organ is enlarged and soft in consistency, with light grey patches On the surface. Causes include infectious diseases, intoxication, Hypoxia, and primary kidney disorders such as Glomerulonephritis, Pyelonephritis, and others. Consequences: renal function declines; if the condition progresses, dystrophic changes lead to parenchymal destruction and Connective Tissue proliferation.
