Rectal Adenocarcinoma
The specimen demonstrates the distal segment of the rectum, within the lumen of which polypoid growths of the mucous membrane with ulceration are observed, narrowing the lumen and potentially causing bowel obstruction. Histologically, these formations reveal proliferation of Glandular Epithelium exhibiting signs of cellular and tissue atypia. Thus, this case demonstrates the exophytic growth of a malignant tumor.
