Appendix I: HLA Specificities

The "Specificity" Column lists individual antigenic specificities identified serologically. HLA-D specificities are also determined using the mixed lymphocyte reaction. Specificities that have not yet been defined with sufficient precision are designated with the symbol "w" (workshop). Allelic variants of MHC genes at each locus are also indicated.
