Parietal and visceral Lymph Nodes of the pelvis are distinguished, which receive Lymphatic vessels from its walls and Organs.

✵ Parietal lymph nodes (nodi lymphoidei parietales)

are located around the major Arteries of the same name lying on the pelvic walls:

— external iliac nodes (nodi iliaci externi);

— internal iliac nodes (nodi iliaci interni);

— common iliac nodes (nodi iliaci communes).

✵ Visceral lymph nodes (nodi lymphoidei viscerales)

lie on the walls of the pelvic organs. These include the lymph nodes of the Urinary Bladder (prevesical, lateral vesical, postvesical, obturator); parauterine, paravaginal, rectal, and anorectal nodes.
