Serous cyst of the Ovary
The specimen shows an enlarged ovary. Deep within its tissue, a mass up to 10 cm in diameter, bounded by a capsule, is revealed. Histological examination reveals signs of atrophy, sclerosis, and dystrophy. As it grows, it may undergo malignant transformation and lead to Cancer.
