The specimen demonstrates a disrupted hepatic architecture characterized by fibrosis and nodular regeneration. Liver cirrhosis is a non-specific condition representing the end-stage of various disorders that cause chronic hepatocellular injury. The amount of Connective Tissue is markedly increased, and hepatocytes fail to form normal acini and lobules, instead regenerating into irregular nodules lacking regular lobular Structure.
