Peritoneal carcinomatosis

The specimen shows a section of the Small Intestine. Numerous neoplasms up to 2 cm in diameter are found in its mesentery. These neoplasms have a dense consistency, lack a capsule, and are tightly adherent to surrounding Tissues. These are implantation metastases. Histological examination reveals atypical glandular structures. Therefore, this is an adenocarcinoma metastasis.
