Intraventricular Hemorrhage

The Lateral ventricles are filled with Blood. In newborns, this is a consequence of birth trauma combined with asphyxia. They also develop in hypervolemia due to excessive fluid administration as a manifestation of iatrogenic pathology. In women, it occurs during Pregnancy complications—severe gestosis, Eclampsia, before delivery, and in the postpartum period. Consequences: cerebral edema, dysfunction of vital centers, and death.
