Fibrinous-necrotic colitis
The specimen shows a segment of the intestine with deposits of fibrinous masses in the mucosa, destructive changes (erosions), and dark red hemorrhages. This is an example of mixed exudative inflammation. Outcomes: Organization and adhesion formation; if destructive changes progress, perforation occurs, leading to Peritonitis.
