Metastases to the greater omentum

The specimen shows the mesentery of the Small Intestine, within the thickness of which pink tumor nodules up to 1 cm in diameter are visible. Histological examination of the nodes reveals the replacement of lymphoid tissue with atypical glandular structures resembling the epithelium of the gastrointestinal tract mucosa.
