Polypoid gastric cancer
The Stomach wall shows signs of mucosal hypertrophy. In the center of the specimen, There is a crater-like formation containing a polypoid outgrowth up to 2 cm in diameter. Histological examination of the damaged area of the stomach wall reveals proliferation of atypical glandular structures with numerous pathological mitoses and cellular atypia.
