Positive Signs of Pregnancy
- Palpation of fetal parts In the second half of pregnancy;
- Auscultation of fetal Heart tones;
- detection of fetal movements;
- confirmation of the presence of a fetus using medical equipment: data from fetal phono- and electrocardiography, and ultrasound data.
Primigravidae experience fetal movements starting from the 20th week of pregnancy, while multigravidae feel them from the 18th week.
