This is a type of biopsy where the material for histological examination is the mucous membrane of the cervical canal. If concomitant Pathology of the uterine body is present (adenomyosis, myomas, hyperplastic processes), total fractional Curettage of the endometrium is performed. The examination is best carried out during the second phase of the Menstrual cycle. The informativeness of the method is very high. It is inadvisable to repeat curettage in a short period of time, especially in the absence of results from the previous morphological examination. Following curettage, marked plethora and disruption of Blood and Lymphatic vessel integrity are observed, which significantly increases the risk of Cancer dissemination.
