Tarsal Bones - Navicular Bone
The navicular bone, os naviculare, is located on the medial side of the FOOT (see Fig. 70A). It features articular surfaces for articulation with the HEAD of the talus and the three cuneiform bones. On its medial side is the tuberosity of the navicular bone, tuberositas ossis naviculare.
