5. BULBOURETHRAL GLANDS
The Bulbourethral Glands (glandulae bulbourethrales) are paired, spherical Organs located in the perineal region. Their excretory ducts (3-4) open into the membranous part of the Urethra. They produce a viscous fluid that lubricates the urethra, protecting its mucosa from irritation by urine.
