The General Principles underlying plant morphogenesis stem from the regularities of its ontogenesis, the temporal and spatial realization of the morphogenetic program, and the presence of self-regulation and self-Organization mechanisms within the plant system operating under specific conditions. As an open system, a plant exists as long as there is an exchange of matter and energy with the environment. Maintaining the internal environment parameters of a Cell or Organism within predetermined limits ensures Homeostasis. The regulation of all life processes is carried out at the intracellular, intercellular, and whole-organism levels. At THE CELLULAR LEVEL, metabolic, membrane, and genetic regulatory systems are distinguished. Intercellular regulatory systems include trophic, hormonal, and electrophysiological systems.
