Introduction
When the carboxyl and amino groups of Amino Acids combine to form a peptide bond, the corresponding Amino acids are converted into amino acid residues. A peptide consists of two or more amino acid residues linked by peptide bonds. Peptides containing more than 10 amino acid residues are called Polypeptides.
