Pyloric stenosis
Pyloric stenosis (classified as an early fetopathy) is a congenital Hypertrophy of the muscular layer of the Cytology/practical/109.html">Pyloric part of The Stomach, resulting in the narrowing of its lumen; it is the most common congenital gastric anomaly. Instead of a normal pyloric ring, gross pathology reveals a tubular Structure with a narrow lumen and thick, dense walls that protrudes into the duodenum. Surgical Treatment leads to a complete recovery.
