Renal hypoplasia.

The Kidney is reduced in size, with its structural components remaining intact. In cases of unilateral hypoplasia, a compensatory enlargement of the contralateral kidney is observed. Bilateral hypoplasia leads to chronic renal failure and ultimately death.
