Congenital Lung Cyst
The cavity within the lung parenchyma is lined with a thin layer of Connective Tissue and contains a clear fluid. Lung cysts (classified as early or late fetopathies) can be multiple (polycystic lung disease), located within a single lung or lobe, or present as solitary lesions. Lung cysts have diverse origins and most commonly develop due to agenesis of one of the bronchial branching orders.
