Renal infarcts
A pale infarct with a hemorrhagic rim is observed in the Kidney; it is a well-demarcated, light gray, triangular-shaped zone. Its occurrence is associated with Impaired Blood supply in the renal artery. The pale color of the infarction zone is due to The Development of necrosis, while the hemorrhagic rim represents dilated collateral vessels.
