A Hemorrhage into the Brainstem accompanied by its destruction, forming a hematoma, is clearly visible. Causes: rupture of the arterial wall (haemorrhagia per rexin), which occurs in atherosclerosis and Hypertension; erosion of the vessel wall (haemorrhagia per diabrosin), associated with neoplastic processes. Consequences: fatal.
