Shock kidney

A pale cortical layer and a dark bluish, congested medullary layer are visible. Such changes occur during shock states, accompanied by profound circulatory disturbances in Internal Organs. Morphological features include ischemia and arterial spasm in the cortex, alongside congestion in the medulla. Consequences: death from ACUTE RENAL FAILURE.
