The Isthmus of the Hindbrain (rhombencephalon) serves as the border between the hindbrain and the Midbrain. It encompasses the superior cerebellar peduncles, the superior medullary velum situated between the peduncles, and the lemniscal triangle located laterally to the superior cerebellar peduncles.
