2. THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE FORMATION AND UTILIZATION OF FISH PRODUCTIVE TRAITS

The utilization of fish productive traits is a major challenge in modern aquaculture, driven not only by the biological Characteristics of Specific fish species, but also by their aquatic environment. Further complexity is added by the fact that fish are poikilothermic animals, breathe dissolved oxygen directly from Water, and exhibit a high degree of feeding specialization. All of these factors fundamentally shape the Qualitative and quantitative parameters of PHYSIOLOGICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL processes, the intensity of which determines the genetically programmed level of realization of fish productivity.
